If you’re not big on hot toddy in the winter and prefer playing it cool all year round, the good folks at NicoCaara have just the drink for you.
Keep it fresh
Take your tonic
You will need:
45ml Beefeater gin
200ml Fever-Tree tonic water (or the tonic of your choice)
10gm cloves
10gm star anise
10gm cinnamon
Stir well
Serve chilled
Directions:
- Infuse a bottle of gin with cloves, cinnamon and star anise (in the above mentioned quantities) for a period of three weeks.
- Pour 45ml of the infused gin in a gin goblet.
- Add ice, tonic water and garnish with star anise.
